FENCING

Fencing classes for children from 6 to 14 years old, are held on Saturdays from 2:10 PM. Fencing program is sponsored by the Polish Cultural Foundation in Clark and by the Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union.

Classes are led by Janusz Mlynek a graduate of The University School of Physical Education in Krakow (AWF Krakow), a trainer of the world and American champions. 1 hour class costs $14, the cost of equipment is included.

Fencing develops body and mind, teaches concentration and quick decision-making.
It teaches how to win, but also how to loose. Fencing is a very popular sport discipline at renowned universities in the USA and many alumni of the program have received scholarships from fencing.
